Bio

A chemist by education and self-taught photographer, painter and writer I combine right and left brain hemisphere in telling stories, unwrapping our psyche, and asking questions through my photographs. I like to find the quaint, disregarded, overlooked.

As an artist I draw heavily upon my own experiencs in life in what I want to share and translate my thoughts, feelings and emotions into photographs using only natural light and limited staging. I like to use everyday objects and prefer to do only a minimum of post editing. Sometimes the images I create with my camera end up as a body of work. At other times I have a story ready I want to illustrate.

I believe we have to go inside where emotions become deeply personal to give value to art. My main topics are loneliness, isolation – chosen or not, feeling different, the less regarded beauty, and taking apart how people view the world and illuminate the illusions.
